Job Title: Team Leader, Singapore Service Centre
Location: Singapore
The Role: The Team Leader is accountable for the day to day oversight of all aircraft project coordination and production/planning liaison of all aircraft projects as directed by the MRO Supervisor. Operates as a Coordinator / Certifying LAME to manage heavy checks or multiple projects.

Specific Responsibilities: Quality, Safety and Environment Ensure maintenance performed on aircraft under their control is conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable regulatory authorities Provide input to responses to audit findings of internal and external audits and take action as directed on remedial and corrective actions against audit findings and corrective action requests. Provide input into the development and revisions of company procedures for continuous improvement. Actively participate, comply and promote Hawker Pacific OH&S and Environment programs and Aviation Safety Management System Proactively drive a safety culture amongst the Hangar team and actively ensure that all staff are appropriately using PPE and observing company safety procedures. Ensure HIRA and SHOR’s are reported immediately in accordance with Company procedure. People Leadership Day to day oversight of work performed by Coordinators/LAMEs, AMEs, JAMEs and technicians - providing clear directions, feedback, guidance and support for maintenance or modification of aircraft allocated to them. Impart knowledge and offer mentorship and coaching to ensure high levels performance and compliance across engineering work and all documentation. Provide input into PPDP’s and training requirements of hangar team. Provide support to the Supervisor and MRO management team as required – covering allocated duties in their absence. Operational Leadership Assist in running heavy check/multiple project (s) assigned by MRO Supervisor and/or Service Centre Manager Monitor progress of all projects assigned to ensure that projects are on track and any issues are escalated for attention Work with Supervisor and Service Centre Manager to actively assess allocation of manpower and resources to ensure timely completion of maintenance and modifications of assigned aircraft within budgetary expectations with emphasis on productivity and efficiency. Contribute to the Supervisors’ weekly review of the production forecast schedule to proactively support planning for future/upcoming aircraft scheduling to ensure resources are available for timely completion of projects Review job packs for assigned projects and ensure they are complete and reflect customer requirements Monitor daily hours reported in IFS for assigned projects to ensure accurate reporting of actual hours worked against each project. In conjunction with the respective project manager, track project status and review man-hours consumed to correct or prevent over runs Ensure projects under their control have stage maintenance certifications completed and at the completion of each project, all paperwork is signed and accurate before return to project management Ensure work orders are raised for all work performed Ensure ASRs are raised for approval on all allocated projects Ensure Coordinators are raising ASRs in IFS for additional work required and ASR Administrator/ Project Manager has followed up approval with customer prior to work proceeding unless otherwise approved by DOM Provide input into quotations and estimates and provide support as required to the risk assessment and post project review process Provide regular feedback to the Project Manager on progress of planned maintenance Provide technical support and input into response to customer queries and complaints Provide daily updates on project status to the Supervisor and/or Service Centre Manager and as part of the daily production meeting Ensure maintenance performed on assigned aircraft is conducted in compliance with the applicable Civil Aviation regulations
