The Government Business team is seeking to recruit a Flightline Co-ordinator to assist in the establishment and support of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Pilot Training System (PTS) Fleet of PC-21 aircraft at RAAF Base Pearce.

The Role: We are currently looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join the Hawker Pacific MRO team. Successful candidates would have the opportunity to join an international organisation and work on a variety of piston, turboprop, and light jet aircraft from leading brands such as Cessna, Beechcraft, Diamond, Dassault Falcon, as well as single and multi-engine Bell Helicopters. The role is located at our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) service centre facilities at Bankstown Airport, reporting to the Hangar Operations Coordinator.

The Role: A great opportunity exists for a motivated and diligent individual to kick start their career in Logistics, providing support to a small and busy team in the Aviation Maintenance industry. If you’re a self-starter looking for full-time work experience in a broad, operational role in an interesting industry, then this may be for you! The traineeship will be full-time for 12 months with on-the-job and formal training, ending with achievement of a nationally recognised qualification in Warehousing Operations. No formal or recognised qualifications are required, as full training is provided. On successful completion of the traineeship, there may be the prospect of permanent employment but it is not guaranteed.

The Role: Hawker Pacific product support activities include MRO, structural modification and support services to awide range of fixed and rotary wing aircraft. Other services include aircraft and engine maintenance, repairand overhaul, special mission aircraft modifications, design engineering, avionics parts and service. Hawker Pacific is also Asia Pacific's premier fixed base operator (FBO) with a network of facilities in Sydney,Brisbane, Cairns, Singapore, Perth, Shanghai and Malaysia. Hawker Pacific holds the highest certification levels and accreditations including CASA, EASA and FAA certification, ISO 9001 Bureau Veritas accreditation, plus OEM customer / airworthiness approvals by 26 major global suppliers and civil and military regulatory authorities. The Role: We currently have a permanent position available for a qualified and experienced Design Engineer (Avionics) to join the Cairns based Design Team of Hawker Pacific. This position is perfect if you are seeking a career move to a more varied Design Engineering role incorporating design, repair, and project management functions.
Your skills and experience: Bachelor Degree in Aeronautical, Avionics or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 3 years of experience in CAD-drafting (e.g. AutoCAD) and compliance finding for avionics modifications. Knowledge of CASR 21M regulations. System knowledge for common GA and RPT avionics systems, both current and legacy. Eligible for Australia wide ASIC. Project management experience, high written and oral communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. Proactive and result orientated with experience working to deadlines delivering quality results. Ability to work autonomously as well as integrate within a team environment.
Specific Responsibilities: Design avionics modifications for Part 23, 25, 27 and 29 certified aircraft and confirm compliance against applicable regulations to support the approval of technical data. Independently manage avionics modification and programs on aircraft in our hangar’s or at customer’s facilities. Train and mentor graduate design engineers. Support business development and quoting activities. Provide technical support to customers, installers and avionics workshop technicians. | Desirable Current or previous CASR Part 21.009 (Systems E, I & R) and/or equivalent approval (CVE, DER). Experience in mentoring and/or Trainer experience in Avionics. Experience in the use of the MS Office suite of products and a company ERP system (IFS preferred). Management experience.
