Our Government Business Group is the market-leader in supply of turn-key, performance based, hybrid civilian/military support fleets. The Government Business team is seeking to recruit a Ground Support Equipment Coordinator and Supply Support person to manage and maintain GSE, Support and Test Equipment (S&TE), tooling, and calibration-servicing programs for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Fleet of B300 aircraft at RAAF Base East Sale. Specific Responsibilities: Reporting to the CAM Supervisor at RAAF Base East Sale, the Ground Support Equipment Coordinator and Supply Support is responsible for: Managing the calibration and servicing of all GSE, S&TE and tooling Planning calibration/servicing of equipment to provide the least impact to Maintenance, and sending equipment out to approved suppliers Activities Servicing, repairing and maintaining basic equipment such as stands and GSE Maintaining accurate records Sourcing and purchasing replacement tooling and equipment Supporting Stores personnel to perform receipt/dispatch and other duties as directed

Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer (Structures & Avionics)
Job Title: Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer (Structures & Avionics)
Location: Bankstown Airport, NSW
The Role: These roles sit within Hawker Pacific's Special Missions business unit which provides aircraft design and project management services locally and internationally. We specialise in special mission fit-outs (fixed and rotary wing, civil, paramilitary and military), airline reconfigurations (including B737, B747, B767 and A320), and Government agency fleet services and in-service support. In one of these roles you will provide ongoing engineering and customer support to our Defence and civil aviation customers, and you will primarily work across developing, designing and reviewing designs for aircraft repairs and modifications. You will have the autonomy to work independently, as well as part of an experienced and dedicated team, ensuring work is completed to schedule and delivered in-line with company requirements.
Your skills and experience: Relevant engineering degree or diploma in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical / Electronic (Avionics) Engineering (essential). Extensive aircraft design experience (post-graduation) in a civil and/or military environment with a demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems with minimum direction and/or supervision. Holder of CASA CASR Part 21M or Part 21.009 Authorisation (Approval of Technical Data) or, an equivalent authorisation within a military regulatory framework, or the qualifications/experience to qualify would be highly regarded. Skilled in the use of classical stress analysis techniques (Structures/Mechanical Engineers only) Exceptional analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail. Experience in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis (Mechanical & Structural Engineers only) and system safety analysis would be highly regarded. Project management experience. Skilled in the use of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and FEA (Strand7). Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Suite of Products. A demonstrated practical and pragmatic approach to solving aircraft design problems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Flexible and adaptable to changing task priorities. Proactive and results-oriented with experience working to deadlines and delivering quality results. Australian Citizenship, with eligibility to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
Specific Responsibilities: Engineering design within the scope of delegated authorisation and in-line with regulatory design standards and Company policies and procedures. Development, review and approval of documentation for design certification and demonstration of compliance. Supervise and/or develop detailed drawings, tools, quantities, material lists and cost estimates, ensuring compliance and adherence to agreed specifications. Undertake design projects ensuring engineering and commercial outcomes are accurate and adhere to specifications and standards. Project management. Supervise the manufacture and installation of designs and modifications, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and compliance in delivery. Ensure that customers are kept informed, issues are resolved, and project deliverables are met on-time and within budget. Contribute to/lead the planning and quoting of projects as required. Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers - B1
Job Title: Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - B1
Location: Bankstown Airport, NSW
The Role: We are currently looking for suitably qualified and experienced Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (B1) to join the Hawker Pacific MRO team. Successful candidates would have the opportunity to join an international organisation and work on a variety of piston, turboprop, and light jet aircraft from leading brands such as Cessna, Beechcraft, Diamond and Dassault Falcon. Type specific training will be available for the right candidate, which may include corporate jet training. Our Engineers work from 7:15am to 3:45pm Monday to Friday with RDOs, and overtime as required. The roles are located at our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) service centre facilities at Bankstown Airport, reporting to the Hangar Operations Coordinator. Senior Design Engineer - Avionics

The Role: We currently have a permanent position available for a qualified and experienced Design Engineer (Avionics) to join the Cairns based Design Team of Hawker Pacific. This position is perfect if you are seeking a career move to a more varied Design Engineering role incorporating design, repair, and project management functions.
Your skills and experience: Bachelor Degree in Aeronautical, Avionics or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 3 years of experience in CAD-drafting (e.g. AutoCAD) and compliance finding for avionics modifications. Knowledge of CASR 21M regulations. System knowledge for common GA and RPT avionics systems, both current and legacy. Eligible for Australia wide ASIC. Project management experience, high written and oral communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. Proactive and result orientated with experience working to deadlines delivering quality results. Ability to work autonomously as well as integrate within a team environment.
Specific Responsibilities: Design avionics modifications for Part 23, 25, 27 and 29 certified aircraft and confirm compliance against applicable regulations to support the approval of technical data. Independently manage avionics modification and programs on aircraft in our hangar’s or at customer’s facilities. Train and mentor graduate design engineers. Support business development and quoting activities. Provide technical support to customers, installers and avionics workshop technicians. | Desirable Current or previous CASR Part 21.009 (Systems E, I & R) and/or equivalent approval (CVE, DER). Experience in mentoring and/or Trainer experience in Avionics. Experience in the use of the MS Office suite of products and a company ERP system (IFS preferred). Management experience.

The Role: You will be based at our Cairns Facility, which provides high quality Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul, Avionics and Design Engineering and FBO services to national and international customers. As a key member of our Hawker Pacific Team you will safely and efficiently execute mechanical and/or structural maintenance activities. A salary of up to 100k will be paid, commensurate of skills, experience and licensing.
