Job Title: Purchasing Officer
Location: Bankstown Airport, NSW
The Role: This role will support the maintenance engineering and stores team in sourcing and purchasing a range of inventory including aviation parts and materials. The right candidate will thrive in a busy environment where priorities are subject to frequent change.
Your skills and experience: - Demonstrate previous experience in similar role - Experience in the use of the MS Office suite of products - Excellent written and verbal communication - High attention to detail - Ability to work a team environment and autonomously - Tertiary qualification will be well regarded
Specific Responsibilities: - Strong research skills - Committed to building relationships with internal and external suppliers, and providing ongoing support in line with company quality and systems strategy and regulatory requirements - Attention to detail and data entry skills - Strong communication (written and verbal) and relationship building skills - Strong computer skills - Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure - Mechanical interest, knowledge or background would be advantageous
