Hawker Pacific Says Bell To Lead The Way At 2-13 Heli-Expo

Hawker Pacific, leading aircraft, sales and product support company in Asia, Pacific and the Middle East, is looking forward to an exciting Bell Helicopter presence at the HAI Heli-Expo 2013, the world’s largest helicopter trade show and exposition, which starts today in Las Vegas.

Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company of which Hawker Pacific is the sole representative of in Australia and New Zealand, will be showcasing a number of aircraft and will make new announcements including model improvements and additions to the Bell product range.

To kick-off Day 1, Bell Helicopter announced an upgrade to the new Bell 412EPI, which improves the Bell 412EP platform with the Bell BasiX ProTM fully integrated glass flight deck, providing critical flight information at a glance for greater situational awareness and safety. Bell also introduced the brand new Bell 407GT, the armed version of the Bell 407GX, which incorporates the Bell 407 platform with the Garmin G1000HTM flight deck, and can be equipped with infrared cameras, light munitions and precision weapons systems.

Hawker Pacific sells 4 Diamonds to Arena Aviation

Hawker Pacific, Asia Pacific’s leading aircraft sales, services and product support company is delighted to announce the sale of two Diamond DA40-CS Lycoming aircraft and two Diamond DA20-C1 aircraft to Arena International Aviation (trading as Johnston Aviation Services), in Port Macquarie. The aircraft were accepted today at the 2013 Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition at Avalon Airport Geelong.

The four aircraft, which will be delivered in April, make up the first of 20 aircraft which the flight training and charter organisation have an option to purchase, with deliveries expected in 2014. The aircraft will be used for flight training, catering for up to 300 Chinese students from Hainan Airlines.

Hawker Pacific’s Sales Manager, Australia, NZ, the Pacific said: “Hawker Pacific very recently made the first-ever sale of a DA20-C1 fitted with the G500 Glass Cockpit within Australia and New Zealand and we’re thrilled to have another two secured in such a short time. Additionally, the DA40-CS is a fantastic machine that continues to be popular with flight training schools because of its versatility as it can be customised with many options to suit a range of missions. Together, the four aircraft are an all-round smart business decision for Arena, and we look forward to our continuing relationship with them.”

Epic Journey Sees Hawker Pacific Receive Delivery Of Two 2013 Model, New Interior, Baron G58s

Hawker Pacific, Asia Pacific’s leading aircraft sales, services and product support company, is excited to announce the delivery of two Baron G58s to Bankstown Airport following an astounding journey across the globe from the USA to Australia. The aircraft are being prepared for delivery to private customers.

The aircraft departed Santa Maria, California on January 5th 2013 and flew 2045 nautical miles across the Pacific Ocean to Hilo, Hawaii (11.41hours) before heading off on the second, andlongest, leg of the journey (2235nm) to Pago Pago, American Samoa which took 12.46hours. The aircraft were then flown to the Gold Coast (2159nm) before arriving at Bankstown, Sydney.The two Baron G58 aircraft flew a total distance of 8551nm and flying time on the brand new aircraft was 48.51hours. According to the pilots the aircraft ‘performed like champions’ with anincredibly smooth journey, minimal oil burn and achieving 1200 feet per minute climb rate at its initial gross weight of 7400lbs (130%).

Hawker Pacific Sells Bell 429 to NZ Operator

Hawker Pacific, Asia Pacific’s leading aircraft sales, services and product support company, has sold a brand new Bell 429 Helicopter to a commercial operator in New Zealand. The aircraft will join an existing rotary fleet for business and VIP transport, and will be fitted out with airconditioning and corporate interior for delivery next year.

According to Tony Jones, Hawker Pacific’s Senior Vice President, Aircraft Sales Group, the 2013 rotary market is looking promising as interest continues to grow, particularly in light twin-engine aircraft, to meet the incoming Part 133 and Part 138 regulations.

“We are extremely pleased to announce our latest Bell 429 sale at the 2013 Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition at Avalon. This deal reflects the resurgence in enquiries we are seeing not only for new aircraft but also in pre-owned aircraft, across our region,” Tony Jones said.

Hawker Pacific, Asia Pacific’s leading aircraft sales, services and product support company, has completed delivery of two brand new King Air 350i turboprops to specialised aviation company AeroPearl.The two aircraft will be used throughout the region for AeroPearl’s Flight Inspection Contract with Airservices Australia and will be based in Brisbane.
