Makers of private jets have long seen the potential of Southeast Asia. The area’s rising wealth, expanding companies and vast geographic distances are a decades old story. Indeed, a visit to Singapore’s Seletar airport gives the impression that the private jet is alive and well in the region, with business aircraft from Embraer, Gulfstream, Dassault, Cessna and others all in evidence.

Embraer Executive Jets Signs Contract with Hawker Pacific for Legacy 500 and Legacy 450 Support

Embraer Executive Jets has signed a contract with Hawker Pacific to provide full maintenance support to Legacy 500 and Legacy 450 customers in the Asia Pacific region. This agreement comes ahead of the Legacy 500 midsize jet’s entry into service in the first half of 2014. The Legacy 450 midlight jet’s certification is expected a year later.

Hawker Pacific Inks Agreement with Embraer Executive Jets

Hawker Pacific, the leading aircraft sales and product support company in Asia, Pacific and the Middle East, has today signed a contract with Embraer Executive Jets to provide full maintenance support to Legacy 500 and Legacy 450 customers in the Asia Pacific region. This agreement comes ahead of the Legacy 500 midsize jet’s entry into service in the first half of 2014. The Legacy 450 mid-light jet’s certification is expected a year later.

Tony Jones, Chief Operating Officer, Hawker Pacific Asia, said today’s approval extends the Company’s already significant experience gained on the Embraer Legacy and Phenom family of jets.

"We have been working closely with Embraer to support their customers in the region since 2007. The addition of the Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 capability further enhances this relationship. HP sells GA8 Airvan

Hawker Pacific, the sales agent for the GippsAero GA8 Airvan in the ASEAN region, has sold its demonstration aircraft. The deal followed a demonstration tour of the Airvan, the 200th built in the GippsAero Victoria, Australia factory, after a sales tour encompassing Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia.

Hawker Pacific Reports Growing Demand for Local Paint Facility

Following the certification of its state-of-the-art paint shop at its Seletar Aerospace Park facility in Singapore, Hawker Pacific – the leading aircraft sales and product support company in Asia, Pacific and the Middle East – has completed a number of milestone projects with long-range jets and is anticipating a very busy 2014. The paint shop facility, dedicated to business aircraft, is the first of its type in the region and has become a valuable resource for local aircraft operators around the region.

In 2013 Hawker Pacific undertook a wide variety of aircraft paint projects including OEM warranty repairs, livery changes and full resprays. To date Citation, King Air, Hawker, Gulfstream, Embraer and Falcon Jet aircraft have been completed, with outstanding feedback from customers.
